Missing Cat - What can I do

Step 1.  Dreamies - As basic as it sounds, walk round your property, and neighbouring streets, From past experience cats love Dreamies. My two come running at the sound of the packet shaking.

Step 2. Check your shed or out buildings, my cat got stuck in a neighbours shed, and it wasn't until I text a group of neighbours to check, did my little one come home.

Step 3. Leave their litter tray outside, Cats have a really good sense of smell, when lost this may help to pick up their scent to find their way home.

Step 4. Post on any local groups you are in, Whatapps, Facebook groups and NextDoor App have helped me in the past.

Step 5.  Contact www.PetsReunited.com, they help to reunite owners with pets. They post pictures of Lost Cats and Cats that have been found.

Step 6. Call round local vets, and animal rescue centres, leaving your details.

Step 7.  Make sure your microchip is up to date,  ring your microchip provider and make sure your details align with new mobile numbers or addresses. If someone finds your cat, you would not want the microchip to be linked to an old phone number.

Step 8. Poster your local area, People sometimes offer rewards.

Step 9. As basic as it sounds, go and talk to neighbours, to my surprise my neighbours knew my Cats well, and had last seen my Cats after I had.
